  A 25-year old black engineer, Roy Allela from Kenya, is bridging the communication barrier between deaf and hearing people.   The Sign-IO glove translates signed hand movements to audible speech allowing deaf people to "talk" even to those who don't understand sign language. How does it work??? The Sign-IO gloves feature sensors mounted on each of the five fingers to determine its movements, including how much a finger is bent. A Texas cop has been placed on paid administrative leave after fatally shooting a woman he was trying to arrest on Monday night in Baytown, a city close to Houston. THE STORY CONTINUES...   Dallas pastor Eugene Keahey shot himself after starting a fire that took the lives of his wife and two of his daughters. Minutes before the fire, the pastor posted on Facebook asking the lord for guidance through a difficult time... Obviously his prayer was not answered which is no surprise to me. Keahey’s wife Deanna 51yrs, and daughter Camryn 15yrs, died in the fire on February 28th. Another one of Keahey’s daughters, Darryn 17yrs died from her injuries on April 1st. Three young children were taken to a Tulsa, Okla.-area hospital after a police officer fired at robbery suspect William Devaughn, who was reportedly in the pickup truck with the kids and their mother. “My 4-year-old daughter was shot in the head, and she has a bullet in her brain, and my 5-year-old has a skull fracture,” Hill said. “My 1-year-old baby has gunshot wounds on her face.   25 year old Tamara Marion was arrested after videos shared on social media showed her sexually abusing a four-year-old boy.   Two videos show her performing oral sex on the child as well as the child attempting to perform an act on her. Authorities became aware of the clip on Monday after receiving a tip.   It’s not known at this time if another person recorded the videos or if she acted alone. Her relation to the child has also not been released.   A Twitter user said “I hope she’s not the parent!!   A wealthy Texas couple ( Mohamed Touré, son of the former Guinean president, and wife Denise Cross Touré ) held a west African girl captive for 16 years while beating her, and forcing her to work as a slave while calling her a dog and worthless. She was only 5 years old when the couple stole her from her village in West Africa.   “Once in the United States, the defendants forced the victim to cook, clean, and take care of their biological children, some of whom were close in age to the victim, without pay for the next 16 years,” a statement says.   The girl escaped 3  years ago and the couple was recently sentenced.    The courts somehow saw it fit to only give the convicted couple a 7 year sentence.
